Outreach- and a little fun, too.
In June 2007 a mission team of 15, comprised of Redeemer members and their friends and family from other areas, embarked on an outreach to a Christian School located in Ciudad Victoria, Mexico. Their jobs were to construct school desks, seal the roof of the main school building, paint, improve the landscape, and teach English and Music to the students. This school was founded by three Presbyterian Churches in the area. Members of the Team included seven "returnees" who assisted this school on previous missions: Arne Keister, Lydia Thomas, Martha Krystaponis, Kyrie Robinson, Arica Cerro, Amanda Krystaponis and Lauren Keister. Eight new missionaries enhanced the effort: Bert Witzel, Daniel Murphree, Shannon Rop, Holly Keister, Abby Adams, Connie Murphree, Kayren Robinson and Catherine Thibaudeau. To God be the glory!

"If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose."
– Philippians 2:1, 2

Dig it!

But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith.- Philippians 3:7-9
